Let this serve as a lesson to us all: There is no scene that cannot be rendered infinitely less awesome through the use of pastels and an airbrush. If your subjects are wolves, unicorns, dreamcatchers, and wizards and your medium is an extra-large T-shirt, little girl’s bedroom poster, or lame carnival ride, then airbrush away. Otherwise, try to remember that, yes, it’s totally possible to make a guy with a hockey mask killing a Giger alien with a bloody steel pipe while being molested by a demonic octopus in a cemetery at night look like the cover of The Care Bears Movie.
