Judy Smongesky poses in San Diego next to a 1965 Ford Mustang her father gave her in 1970 as a high school graduation present. When Smongesky tried to sell the car recently she learned it had been stolen a month before her dad bought it. Police notified Eugene Brakke, the previous owner before theft, of the car’s recovery.
