Another blistering post by Michael Gray on Google’s manipulation of web sites into complying with their idea of what the search space should look & act like.

Of course Google don’t want you selling paid links, it eats into their AdWords revenue. Their only penalty (to date) is to lower or remove their PageRank score; traffic remains the same indicating that they still think you’re a good enough site to get the visitors, they just don’t want you earning money from selling advertising unless it’s through them.
